The Moorings are very thorough in all aspects of their work, planning, recording, liaison with parents. They excel in the way they engage with young people supporting them to re-engage and stay in an educational setting.  A particularly strong piece of work has been focused on the U Turn project, at Primary as a prevention and at secondary as a diversionary project.  Given the knowledge and expertise of the Moorings staff they have been invaluable in supporting the young people while on the course and in follow up work.

We have a great deal of respect and admiration for the tireless work the Moorings does with young people and their families.

I have known of the Bexley Mooring’s Project throughout my period of working in Bexley and they have consistently provided a good service to the young people of this Borough. Staff and volunteers engage well with young people in the Borough and have been effective in building good relationships, which is the basis of effecting change. They have continued to provide this service despite financial restraints and their project has been able to obtain the funding to continue the service, which I believe is in recognition of the quality of the service they provide as well as its importance to the young people of Bexley.
