Can you spare a few hours a week to make a difference for vulnerable children and teenagers? From one-to one befriending to group work and office roles volunteers make a huge contribution to our work whilst improving their skills, meeting new people and having fun!
What do I need to support a young person with the Moorings Project?
- You must be aged 16 or over
- No specific qualifications are required, we welcome people from all walks of life, but you must be non-judgemental, empathetic and understanding Volunteers need to attend free training to help develop these key skills
- You have to undergo an enhanced DBS check
- You need to be able to commit to the project for a minimum of 6 months
